We’re going to Bonnaroo!

It’s official – By Lightning is playing Bonnaroo this year! We had a great time at the Road To Bonnaroo show at Mercy Lounge. All of the other bands sounded fantastic and we are genuinely honored to share the stage w/ all of them. We’d also like to thank BMI, The Nashville Scene and Mercy Lounge for making this event possible.

As a way of saying thanks to our fans we’d like to offer a streaming link to our new record, Left Hand Right Hand, in its entirety. Hope you enjoy and we’ll see you at the roo!

“Best New Band” in The Nashville Scene

By Lightning was named “Best New Band” in the Nashville Scene’s 2011 “Best Of Nashville” issue!

“A few months ago, we saw By Lightning! perform at an 8 off 8th at Mercy Lounge, and the crowd was positively rapt. Featuring musicians who probably have 70-plus years of Nashville stage experience between them (including Kat Brock and several members of several incarnations of De Novo Dahl), By Lightning! delivers a brilliant, pop-rooted cacophony that’s incredibly engaging. Nashville has a lot of rock bands come and go, but we’re very excited about this one. “
